HOW IT WORKS

The 1:90 Align platform enforces the framework architecture. Every task must connect to a milestone. Every milestone must connect to a wave. Every wave must connect to the active Arc. The system makes misalignment structurally impossible.

Step 1 — Define Your Arc

An Arc Leader uses the Arc Planning module to define the single 90-day strategic goal. Not a list of priorities — one Arc. The platform prompts for success criteria, resource requirements, and the three-Wave breakdown before the Arc is published to the organisation.

Step 2 — Build Your Waves

Each Arc automatically generates three Wave slots (Foundation, Build, Complete). Team Leaders add Milestones within each Wave — the weekly measurable checkpoints that prove the Wave is on track. Milestones are binary: achieved or not. No ambiguous percentage-complete scores.

Step 3 — Assign Tasks

Workers receive daily tasks through the platform, each linked to a specific Milestone. Tasks cannot exist without a Milestone connection — this is enforced by the system, not by policy. The Capacity Planner ensures workload is balanced across the team before tasks are assigned. Training covers this process for all three team tiers.

Step 4 — Run Daily Ripples

Each morning, the platform surfaces the day's Ripple agenda automatically — tasks completed, tasks planned, blockers flagged. The 15-minute standup runs against the Arc, not a general task list. Every question asked in a Ripple connects back to the 90-day goal.
